Biology 120 Natural History Assignments Links to Survey and Examinations Links to assignments will be activated as they become available. The links below are to an Online Survey and to PDF files located in the textbook. You must have a subscription to the textbook in order to access these files. Submission of a late exam is not accepted unless approved before the due date and time. Quiz 01: Due Friday 31 Aug 9:00 pm (Survey Quiz) Exam 1: Due Friday 21 Sep 11:00 pm (PDF File) Exam 2: Due Friday 19 Oct 11:00 pm (PDF File) Exam 3: Due Friday 16 Nov 11:00 pm (PDF File) Exam 4: Due Monday 10 Dec 11:00 pm (PDF File) As you will see for each of the examinations in this course, the questions cause you to research your answers from the course lectures, the online textbook, and other sources as noted on the exams. Of course, you may use ANY sources you would like; however, you must include material from the online text, the course lectures and any assigned sources. Links to Quizzes The following links are to the quizzes located in the textbook and based on your reading. Each quiz has assigned chapters in which the answers may be found noted above the questions on the quiz. Open the quiz, print it, read the appropriate chapters and circle the correct answers as you find them, return to the electronic quiz, fill out your name, code and email address accurately, enter your answers, and submit the quiz. Quizzes are not timed. Except for the required survey quiz, quizzes are opened at least five days before they are due and are due at 9 pm on the date indicated. Each quiz will be closed after the deadline has passed. Do not miss deadlines; complete the quizzes early. Regardless of due date and time, a quiz can be completed for credit if the link is active. You will receive a confirmation email within 20 minutes (usually immediately) with a confirmation number if your quiz was submitted successfully. If you do not receive this confirmation email you may have entered your email address incorrectly. Resubmit the quiz. You will NOT receive confirmation emails for the Survey Quiz.
Detailed Exam Scores and Comments When they become available, exam scores and comments will be posted below. Generally this requires at least one week after the exam deadline. Late exams are graded after on-time exams.
